4 x 60-minute in-person sessions
Ideal for a team building session and those interested in taking a preventive approach to mental health and wellbeing.
This is an experiential session based on the FITMINDS model of 5 mental muscles. The session provides a good introduction to mental skills in a practical, creative and accessible way.
The mental muscles are a hybrid of evidence-based principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/ training (ACT), Mindfulness, Functional imagery training and Compassion based approaches.
This session is highly practical and provides ideas of how to incorporate Mental skills training into your life in time efficient and practical ways.
Practicing mental skills can enhance focus, energy, enjoyment and provide a counter to the accumulation of stress, anxiety and distraction.
We provide exercise to activate these muscles using the metaphor of a gym.
